Designing For Fall

Fall is right around the corner and there’s nothing like spicing up your home with new seasonal decorating. Warm colors paired with dark accents can bring the feel of the outdoors into your space.

Brick is a great option to implement because of its timeless rustic appeal and warm varying tones. Brick accents are perfect for any fall themed interior but still go nicely with many other styles. Pictured is the Jeffrey Court Specialty Brick in the color “Serra Brick”. It can be used for exterior floors and walls, interior floors and walls, showers, as well as pools! Porcelain brick gives modern insulation with a rustic look.

Luxury Vinyl flooring is a great alternative to hard wood floors. The Mohawk True Design (shown in Fossil Grey) is 100% water proof with a rigid top layer that resists scratches and scrapes - perfect for any household.

Bring comfort and quality into your home with Kane Carpet’s Barrington collection. This carpet is customizable in sizing perfect for any space. Fibers are long-lasting, moisture and stain resistant, and fade proof. The beautiful, subtle pattern in the Barrington collection is perfect for Fall!

Sherman-Williams has a wide selection of paint samples. Shades Husky Orange, Determined Orange, Copper Harbor, Inventive Orange, and Neighborly Peach are all complimenting colors that can pull a room together and really give that fall effect. Accent walls would also be a perfect fit for this color pallet.

Backsplashes are an easy way to liven up a kitchen. The Shell Series by Mirage Glass Tiles adds a new texture with multiple colors that can pop with many color schemes. This tile can also be used on the floor and in wet areas, such as a bathroom.

Creating contrast is essential to all types of visual appeal. For example, adding a hint of dark can bring together any room. With Crossville’s Yin + Yang elongated marble hex mosaic (shown in color “Tea Garden”) you can add a dark accent to your walls, floors or shower without the full contrast of black.
